Fake was originally called Fake Behind A Smile.
Produced by Uwe Sabyrowski, the band sent out a 4-track demo to Epitaph Records in order to get signed. It is unknown what other songs, besides Excited, were demoed at that time.

3-Tempi-Song is an unreleased song recorded sometime throughout 2005. It was intended to be a single supporting their B-Seite DVD. An instrumental outtake can be heard in the credits. It is unknown if Arnim recorded vocals or why it was scrapped.

Some demos were recorded with Moses Schneider in another studio, before eventually scrapping the session and re-recording the album in their rehearsal space.
It is rumored that an early version of Alright was recorded with Moses. Another rendition of Velosolex was supposedly demoed as well.

Arnim originally came up with the riff in the midst of rehearsing for the tour they didn't even know if they were gonna be able to play at. The entire song was finished within just a few days in their rehearsal room.
