Soljanka
Soljanka went through a ton of changes during the writing process of Limbo Messiah. Initially, it was going to be the fith song on the album.
When they debuted the song in Summer 2006, a little less than a year before Limbo Messiah's release, the outro was completely absent. This version has been uploaded to YouTube a couple of times. A studio version of this early version exists, as the Beatsteaks can be seen recording it in the studio in Limbo Messiah's mockumentary. Also heard in the mockumentary are a couple more different versions of the outro, one notably being in a different key.
This song has been played at most shows from, spanning it's release to their Boombox tour. It was basically dropped after that, only being played a handful of times. Surprisingly, this song saw a return and has been played irregurarely since their 2nd Wuhlheide concert in 2022.
