To Be Strong is a fan favourite and one of the band's most played songs, having been played at every tour.
It was one of the later songs written for Living Targets. The song was recorded during their second session with Billy Gould.
The song was occasionally played in a toned down version. Due to Arnim and Rod of Die Ärzte playing it at a Covid protest, it was the first song performed live after the band's 2019 break.
