Soothe Me

Soothe Me is a fan favourite, having been played at least occasionally at every tour.

It was one of the first songs written for Living Targets. The song was recorded during their first session in Cologne during late 2000. It was produced by Uwe Sabirowsky.

The song went through various variations through the years. Often times, it was played live acoustically. They also recorded an acoustic rendition of Soothe Me in the band's second Living Targets session in 2001, along with an acoustic version of Yeah!

[Verse 1]

You can't keep

What you've got

And I sold

What I owned

If you come

In from the cold

I'll warm you up

And we'll take it slow

[Verse 2]

What I never dare to say

The sun comes up

Gives me a hug

Tellin me not to move too much

We've got all the time we need

And our plans to succeed

[Chorus]

What I never dare to say

I'm pretty sure you know it anyway

Soothe me everyday

Soothe me everyday

[Bridge]

You can't keep

What you've got

And I sold

What I owned
