Mirrored
Mirrored is, with it's mysterious lyrics, one of the band's most ominous songs. It has never been performed live.
The lyric "The Ordinary Me" was once strongly considered to be the album's title. It was even mentioned on a promo-cassette tape, given out by the band throughout the Summer of 2001. View the promo-tape here.
It was one of the first songs written for Living Targets. The song was recorded during their first session in Cologne during late 2000. It was produced by Uwe Sabirowsky.
[Verse 1]
When everything in you is collapsing I'm feeling well
And when you lose the game you know you're in hell
And if you need me most I'll be there and hold your hand
Hold your own hand with fire gloves
[Pre-Chorus]
How I used to say
Anyway
I don't mind
I don't mind you, stay
[Chorus]
(Go down)
Everybody knows you're messing around
(Go down)
Everybody knows you're getting around
(Go down)
Look behind my face and you will see
The ordinary me
[Verse 2]
When every thing in you is sliding away like a frame
There ain't no sin without a shame
And if you cry my name I'll be there and help you to do
The step over the edge
The step over the edge
